Questions for Reflection
Reflect:
- In Jesus giving the space for the disciples to discern who he was, it gave them the chance to name and claim their beliefs for themselves, and then in turn to name and claim their identity as Jesus’ disciples. How do we see Jesus opening space here for his disciples to do this hard work, and how might we do the same for our young people? What programming needs to be in place (or is established already) in order to facilitate this?
- As our youth come to their understandings of who God is, and how God might be leading them, how might that impact our world? Our community? Our church? And how might we support them as they come to terms with their calling as leader?
