The presence of God in all seasons of our lives, especially in difficult times, is what the Psalmist praises God for in Psalm 139. How might we live that out as we work with young people? How might we begin by trusting it for ourselves?
If God “knits” everyone together, might God also be knitting individuals together as the church? What does it mean to be interwoven into the fabric of the lives of these young people? (And how might that overlap with any knitting group our church might have?)
If God is on our side to this degree, how might we be able to come alongside our youth who are struggling with mental illness and mental health concerns, and gently remind them of this, all the while honoring where they are without attempting to fix their situations?
