Subjects of Church Safety, Skip Masback – Video and Discussion Questions
Rev. Skip Masback talks about the scope of people in your church and youth ministry who would be subject to a church safety policy.
Questions for Discussion:
- Who in your church/program will need to have background screenings and be trained? Paid staff, adult volunteers and teen volunteers/leaders (under 18 years of age) should all be considered. Will the requirements be different for teen volunteers/leaders? How will the policy allow for flexibility based on level of involvement?
- Who in your church or program will be responsible for screening and training staff and volunteers and how will you do that?
- Who will be responsible for maintaining screening and training records and update screening and training as outlined by your policy?
