New YMI Training Module Now Available – Cultivating Resilience with Youth
YMI has a new module on cultivating resilience, well-being, and authentic happiness in youth, which can be found here. These training modules are designed to support your continuing development as a youth minister or to train your team.

We have also created training modules on Sabbath Rest, Racism and the Inner Self and Dismantling Racism.


Now Available – Gospel of Mark Bible Study
Yale Bible Study now has an 8-session Gospel of Mark Bible Study with the Rev. Dr. Allen Hilton, which includes videos and podcasts of the seminar. You can find the Bible Study here.


2021 Upcoming Events and Offerings


Join Dr. Joel Baden for a free 8-week study on the Book of Genesis starting on January 18th. We’ll examine where these stories come from, how they relate to similar traditions from Israel’s neighboring cultures, and how they have grown over time until reaching the version we have them now. Participants who attend all 8 sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Prof. Joel Baden, Professor of Hebrew Bible at Yale Divinity School, is a specialist in the Pentateuch, Biblical Hebrew, and disability theory in biblical studies as well the co-creator of the YBS on Genesis. Read more here.


February 3; 12 – 1:30pm: A Journey with LGBTQ+ and Immigrant Youth with Yadi Martínez-Reyna
Through presentation and open conversation, Yadi will provide resources and ideas on how to crate a safe space for all young people and will share with you their social, academic, and ethical experiences working with LGBTQ+ and immigrant youth.

YDS Summer Study 2021
Summer Study 2021 will take place online on June 7-11!  Enjoy the same renowned faculty and quality sessions that Summer Study is known for, from the convenience and safety of home. Courses will meet Monday – Friday, either 9:00-11:30 am or 1:30-4:00 pm. More information can be found here.
