A New Yale Bible Study – Kings and Chronicles
The Kings and Chronicles Bible Study is now available as a self-guided individual or small group Bible study. The history of Israel, especially in the period of the monarchy, is told twice in the Bible. We find it once in the book of Kings, and again in the book of Chronicles. Separated by centuries, these two historical works cover much of the same ground, but do so very differently. In this study, we look at each book in turn, reflecting on some of the best-known characters and events, from Solomon to Elijah to Josiah, and consider the ways that history writing is shaped by the circumstances in which it is written. Dive in at Kings and Chronicles Bible Study.
From the YMI Director: The Best Resource
Dear youth ministry friends,
Here at the YMI, a part of my job is to discern the needs of youth ministry workers, and to attempt to offer programming to meet those needs. It can be a fun guessing game. Will folks be interested in innovation, or discussion topics? Spiritual practices, or missional endeavors? Progressive curricula, or learning how to write their own?
