Join us Wednesday, November 7th for a free Lunch and Lecture in the Old Refectory at Yale Divinity School. Yale Youth Ministry Institute is proud to present our second Lunch + Lecture of the Fall semester, a part of the Joy and Adolescent Faith and Flourishing Series. This afternoon's lecture will feature Dr. David Anderson Hooker, Dr. Itihari Toure & Dr. Elizabeth Corrie. Together, they will deliver a lecture on peace-making and reconciliation entitled, "Eight bowls, Four weeks, One RADICL World.” See abstract and bios below.

Lecture Topic
The presenters will argue that peace, reconciliation, and, by extension, joy and the good life are communal achievements and not individual pursuits or possessions.

Guest Lecturer Bios
Dr. David Anderson Hooker is professor of the practice of conflict transformation and peacebuilding at the University of Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs.

Dr. Itihari Toure currently works with the Interdenominational Theological Center as faculty in the Master of Arts Christian Education degree program.

Dr. Elizabeth Corrie is associate professor in the practice of youth education and peacebuilding and director of the Youth Theological Initiative at Candler School of Theology.
