Dr. Mary Clark Moschella is Roger J. Squire Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling. Previously, Professor Moschella taught at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., for ten years. Before that, she was a pastor in United Church of Christ congregations in Massachusetts for thirteen years.

Rev. William Mathis serves as a Lecturer in Divinity at Yale Divinity School. Rev. Mathis is Pastor of Springs of Life-Giving Water Church (The Springs), an American Baptist Church in New Haven, CT. He is also the CEO of WLM Ministries, Inc., a non-profit devoted to providing consulting services for the development of community and faith-based initiatives with a specialty in the areas of Criminal Justice/Neighborhood Safety, Community Building, Youth Empowerment, Social Justice, and African Diaspora Collaboration.

The Reverend Dr. Debora Jackson is the former Director of Lifelong Learning at Yale Divinity School. Dr. Jackson received her Doctorate in Ministry, emphasis in Leadership, and Master of Divinity degree, emphasis in Spirituality, both with honors, from Andover Newton Theological School. She holds a Master of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University.

Dr. Christian Smith is the William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of Sociology and Director of the Center for the Study of Religion and Society at the University of Notre Dame. Smith is well known for his research focused on religion, adolescents and emerging adults, and social theory. Smith received his MA and PhD from Harvard University in 1990 and his BA from Gordon College in 1983. He was a Professor of Sociology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for 12 years before his move to Notre Dame.

Dr. Michal Beth Dinkler is Assistant Professor of New Testament at Yale Divinity School. Professor Dinkler’s research lies at the intersection of New Testament and literary theory, focusing especially on the usefulness of narratological theories for the study of New Testament narratives. Her first book, Silent Statements: Narrative Representations of Speech and Silence in the Gospel of Luke (2013), demonstrates how close attention to speech and silence illuminates the plot, characterization, themes, and narrative rhetoric of Luke’s Gospel. Yara Gonzalez-Justiniano, originally from Puerto Rico, is a PhD student in Practical Theology at Boston University with concentration in Church and Society. Her research interests include Latinx theologies, cultural identity and memory studies, postcolonial theory, popular culture and popular religion. Yara is Under Care with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and is in the process of ordination. Yara, also works with different church communities in hopes of maintaining an open dialogue between academic endeavors and the church.
