Suicide Prevention Month
September is Suicide Prevention Month. The Yale Youth Ministry Institute offers a wealth of resources for youth leaders, parents and others to support the young people in their lives who may be suffering and at risk. You can train your team on how to support the mental health of youth here.
The YMI Quest Program – Quest for the Spirit
Young people today are struggling with unprecedented levels of anxiety and depression. Studies have shown that regular spiritual practices can help to reduce anxiety and feelings of hopelessness. Our Quest for the Spirit program introduces youth (and adults!) to the ancient spiritual disciplines that have offered a hundred generations of the faithful gateways to the experience of God. Find our Quest for the Spirit curriculum here.
