Youth Ministry Institute

Jill joined our staff in September of 2019. A graduate of Miami University with a degree in English Literature, Jill went on to get her Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary. Ordained through the United Church of Christ in 2009, Jill began her ministry as a hospital chaplain, serving in hospitals in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She has since served four UCC congregations in Massachusetts and Connecticut.  Ministry to and with youth has long been a passion and area of particular interest for Jill, specifically the art of accompaniment with youth, and expanding the understanding of what youth ministry can do to transform local congregations. In addition to her work at YMI, Jill serves as the pastor of a local UCC congregation in Milford, CT.  Jill’s husband, Kevin, is an Episcopal priest; Jill, Kevin, and their two children reside in Fairfield.
