Suicide Prevention Month
September is Suicide Prevention Month. Youth often turn to friends instead of parents or other adults in their life when they are struggling. Sometimes they don’t tell anyone. As a youth leader, it is important to know what signs to look for and how you can help when someone is having suicidal thoughts.

New Yale Bible Study! Check Out The Book of the Twelve
The Book of the Twelve, also known as the “12 Minor Prophets,” is a complex collection of prophetic material that spans 400 years of history, and features prophets writing from different geographical, political, and social contexts. It functions as a microcosm of the entire Hebrew Bible – its texts are composite works repurposed and added to in order to preserve important traditions and re-contextualize them for new communities. Throughout, the collection continually prompts us to ask questions about the nature of prophets, prophecy, and the ways in which God relates to God’s people. The self- guided Book of the Twelve Bible Study with Dr. Joel S. Baden and Dr. Molly Zahn can be found here.
