How did the friends in this story use their bodies to help the paralyzed man?
How did Jesus view this man’s paralysis, and how might we be called to welcome those of differing abilities in our midst? How is this embodied joy? (And… what does it mean that he healed this man? How do we grapple with what healings mean, from our own current perspective and cultural context?)
How might we teach our youth to honor their own bodies, and to use them in every way possible, but that bodily limitations means no less in the eyes of God?
